Dr. Ho’s Practice Philosophy:

“My goal is to treat each patient with the care and respect that I would want my family and I to be treated. I also strive to highly educate and provide the best treatment plan with preventative eye care.”

 

Dr. Stephanie Ho is a native of British Columbia., Canada. Dr. Ho completed her BSc with First Class Honors at the University of British Columbia. After doing vision research in Canada and Spain, she received her Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Here, she was the recipient of the Board of Trustees Scholarship. During her training, Dr. Ho had clinical rotations at a Low Vision Clinic in Philadelphia PA, the Dorn VA hospital in Columbia, South Carolina, the Balboa Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California, a vision therapy clinic in New Westminster, Colorado and helped start a private practice in Stowe, Vermont.

Upon graduation, Dr. Ho practiced in both Washington and British Columbia. Her practice settings included working in general ophthalmology, refractive surgery, senior care homes, Indian health service and private practice. Outside the clinic, she organized a team of optometric physicians to perform eye exams for the athletes of the 2010 Winter Olympics and Paralympics in Vancouver, BC. In addition, Dr. Ho has been a principal investigator for Vistakon contact lens clinical studies.

Dr. Ho is actively involved in her profession and the community. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the Optometric Physicians of Washington, and the King County Optometric Society. Dr. Ho is a past King County Optometric Society President. She has been the Co-Chair of both the OPW Membership Committee and the King County Membership Committee.  Also, she has volunteered for World Relief Seattle.

She currently resides in Newcastle, WA with her husband Anthony and son Marcus. They enjoy the outdoor sports and the great restaurants that Seattle has to offer.
