Dr. Sutter grew up in the Pacific Northwest. After completing her undergraduate degree in Physiology at the University of California, San Diego, she completed her doctorate at the University of California, Berkeley, and her residency in Primary Care. She practiced for 10 years before taking a few years off to prioritize family. During this time, she completed a Masters in Public Health at the University of Washington. She returned to practice in 2018 and joined Klahanie Eyecare. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and Optometric Physicians of Washington.
Dr. Sutter enjoys working in the community where she lives. She finds eyecare rewarding because she can help people of all ages and backgrounds. When her children are grown, she wants to become more involved with eyecare services in developing countries.
Dr. Sutter lives in Sammamish with her husband, her 2 boys, and her daughter. You might spot her in the community playing tennis, riding her bike, or walking her dogs.
